The days of summer

We had had a long Saturday of doing projects. We were out in the garage when the ice cream man drove by. Kaden is always asking for a treat and we finally complied. Aaron and I got snow cones and Kaden picked a blue Sonic the Hedgehog treat. We sat in the backyard to enjoy them. Kaden was an absolute mess when all was said and done, but he loved every minute of it.

Labor Day Reunion

Kaden and Abbie playing in the dirt
Playing with tractors in the dirt by the light of the flashlight (it is right by his left hand)
Eating a peach with Uncle Brent by the campfire
After the huge downpour it left the little creek running with lots of water. Kaden played in it for quite some time.Sarah and Brent hanging out at the trailerEnyoying the campfire

Every year my family has a reunion over labor day. We camp in Strawberry. My parents weren't there this year because they were taking Carly to school so they were nice enough to let us borrow their camping trailer. It was definitely a lot more work trying to pack a trailer than just throwing a tent in the back of the truck. It was very worth it though because we had a couple of downpours of rain that made us grateful for more shelter than just a tent.

We love you Carly

Carly is heading off to BYU. Here are some pics from our last few times together. We are going to miss her, but we know that she will love it up there!

Triathlon

Aaron finished his second Tri in the Pines, making this his third triathlon. He shaved off 9 minutes from his time last year. We love to see dad do so well!
