Kaden had his preschool graduation last week. Miss Tracy did an awesome job and it was really fun to watch the kids. Kaden will go one more year with her before he goes into Kindergarten. I am grateful he will have more practice with everything. I am not very good at sitting down with him and doing that kind of stuff. Kaden was shy during the ceremony and didn't sing at all. Hopefully next year will be better. I was so proud of him. He just is getting so big and can do so many things now. I love him so much and am so blessed to have him be a part of our life. The kids sang "I believe I can fly." I hope and pray that we are teaching him the those things he will need in life for when he will grow his wings and fly. I know it will come faster than I will be ready for. We love you Kaden!
The boys went on the Father's and Son's Campout. They love being with dad. When I was saying goodbye to the boys Brendon literally pushed me away as if to say "hello mom!! I am going with the boys, I will be fine." Aaron didn't even set up a tent, they just slept in the back of the truck. Aaron built a little fire over by the truck so the boys could play with the fire safely...Thankfully, they all returned home unharmed.
My friend Toni posted her opinion today on her blog about the illegal immigration issue that is going on right now in AZ. I really liked her point of view and I completely agree with it so I thought I would share. Go here to read all about it.
I won an award for Nurse's Week. There were five people chosen for awards out of all the RNs in the hospital. My award was for "Contribution to Patients." I was shocked to be even nominated for a category. There was an awards ceremony. My mom had my whole family attend. I have such wonderful support in my life. I would be nowhere without my family and friends that back me up with what I do. I love you guys!
We had the opportunity to attend the open house for the Gila Valleytemple. It was so beautiful. I am so grateful that we have temples here on this earth. I am grateful that during the open house anyone has the opportunity to see its beauty and feel the Spirit and peace inside. I know that Heavenly Father has a plan for us here on this earth. I love that temples help us to be an eternal family. I cannot imagine living in a world without my boys. It was a very special day for our family. I hope Kaden feels of our love for the temple and hope that he is gaining a testimony of its importance as well.
