Yes, we are still here. Wow...Where did 2009 go? I am really hoping that 2010 is going to be better than 2009. It can only be better right?
I think everyone should join me in playing with Becky Higgins in Project Life. I am super duper excited to be doing this project. Today my pic of the day is of the house in this gorgeous rainy weather. This project is going to make my life with scrapping so much more simple. And it has even got me excited about regular scrapbooking again. So please join! I am doing a picture of the day idea for the family and pictures of the month for the boys.
Plus I had to add this pic of Brendon because he is so stinkin ca-ute.
I also wanted to pick your brains on what you do for cleaning. I have not been able to get into a good routine now that we are in this bigger house. Believe me, I have tried. I tried doing a schedule where I cleaned something every day of the week and each thing took less than 45 minutes. I thought I could stick to that one, even with days I work. No good. Then I thought maybe I should just stay up one night a week and do it all in 3 hours or so while everyone is asleep. But I end up finding others things to do or I only get partly done because I get distracted with something else. So, I pose the question all you multi-tasking mothers out there, how do you clean your house? What works best for you?

Oh, my gosh Alicia! I have the same problem! I started doing a file box it has really helped me. Sidetracked Home executive or Flylady show you how to do it. It just breaks everything down for you. I will also email you some stuff that might help. Ahhhhh! I hate cleaning! Good Luck!
I love Becky Higgins! Great ideas!
As far as cleaning goes...it is just hard because everyone un-does what you just did all day long! I spend an hour every morning just on maintenance stuff...dishes, vacuum floors, pick up bedrooms, clean up breakfast, pull out dinner. I wait for the weekend recruits to get to the deeper stuff like toilets and tubs. Laundry lately is at night while we are watching shows. During the day I'm so distracted that that poor load just stays there!Don't beat yourself up about it, spend some extra time with your kids!
Thanks guys! I am learning to let go. I used to have to have the entire house picked up every.single.night before I went to bed. Now I am not so fanatical, bc I would rather focus on something else. :)
