Cousins

Kaden loves to play with his cousin Chase. Here is the latest picture of them together. Chase is 5 months old. He always laughs when Kaden is talking to him.

4th of July

We went camping over the 4th of July weekend. It was a lot of fun. Kaden had the most fun because he was playing in the great outdoors for 3 days straight. By the end, he was dirt from head to toe. It was nice to escape the heat for the weekend.

It's a BOY!!

We had an ultrasound done on Wednesday and we found out we are having another boy!! We are very ecstatic! Aaron told the tech when we walked in "Just tell me there's a wiener!" It will be fun to have someone for Kaden to play with and we won't have to buy too much for him. We are thinking of names so we are open to suggestions.

Exciting News!!

I took my stated boards on Tuesday and found out on Wednesday that I had passed! I now have a license and am a full blown RN. It is very exciting to have everything all said and done. This was my first week of taking care of patients with a license under my belt. It was kind of fun. I am on orientation for awhile and hope to go to part time (2 - 12 hour shifts) after that. Aaron is excited that I am now contributing some financially after the last two years. I think he is more excited about the money than I am. It is nice to get a real paycheck though.

Brenton's Hitched!!

Brenton and Sarah were married in the Bountiful Temple on June 6th. I had forgotten my temple recommend and thankfully realized it the day before the sealing. I called and left messages on all the appropriate people's machine. The next day (the day of the sealing) I still had not heard back from anyone. I was on the phone for about 45 minutes trying to get in touch with someone from the Stake Presidency and my bishopric so they could call the temple and vouch for me. I was in tears for most of the morning, frustrated at myself, and upset I might miss the sealing. I finally was able to get someone to answer me about 45 minutes before we were supposed to leave for the temple. We arrived at the temple and they had received the messages about my good standing and I was able to get in. I was very grateful I had realized that I didn't have my recommend prior to getting to the temple or there was no way they would have been able to get a hold of anyone. It made my morning very stressful, and I was very grateful to feel peace inside the temple. We are so happy for Brent and Sarah and wish them all the happiness.

Playing at the beach

Kaden's first time at the beach. You can't go to Cali without going to the beach. You can't stay very long either (especially in the morning) 'cuz the water is too stinking cold! Kaden had fun running on the beach and being chased by the waves coming in.

Sea World

Aaron's parents invited us to go to Sea World a couple of weeks ago. Kaden had a ton of fun!
